Best "Low Carb" Biscuit Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of almond flour (I like to use this brand of Almond Flour - Wholesome Yum Premium Fine Blanched Almond Flour For Baking) Click here to buy: https://amzn.to/3LaYdc4
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 large egg whites
4 tablespoons of COLD butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400, grease sheet pan
Put 4 egg whites in a bowl
Put dry ingredients in a separate bowl
Use cheese grater to shred your butter onto a saucer (or bowl, but saucer is better) then place shredded butter in freezer
Use mixer to mix dry ingredients and leave in bowl, then use mixer to whip your egg whites until you have very firm stiff peaks
Remove butter from freezer, blend lightly with dry ingredients - then mix it all VERY GENTLY into egg whites
Dollop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes - watch biscuits when getting close to 10 minutes to get your desired done-ness. I like mine a little browner and crisper - but you might like yours lighter.
